Being in the industry for more than 15 years, Roy was a military regular where he realised his calling in fitness training. After his military stint, he furthered his education and completed his Masters in Sport Science with Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Subsequently, he returned to Singapore as a fitness coach for 2 years, specialising in strength and conditioning, training special population and adolescents. Thereafter, Roy joined a commercial entity for almost 10 years where he kick-started, maintained and ensured profitability of a new fitness business unit. The 2 most notable highlights during his tenure were winning and managing a multi-million government fitness training tender over 7 years from start to end and winning a grant to develop a technological prototype that allows grading of human movement coupled with e-learning capabilities. Presently with AEF, Roy hopes to develop and groom future fitness trainers and leaders with his drive and experience.the fusion of learning and the multifaceted nature of the fitness and health industry.
